I LoooOOOOve My Crock Pot!

I have a new found love...the crock pot!!
I made these two recipes last week- 3 Bean Turkey Chili and Chicken Taco Chili from Skinny Taste -and Jon loved them. {He was super impressed with my mad cooking skills, even though I tried to convince him how easy it was!} We made a taco salad out of it by adding multi-grain tortilla chips, a bed of lettuce, shredded cheese, and a dallop of low fat sour cream. Yum!!

Several friends use recipes from here- Skinny Crock Pot Recipes - and I love that their "healthy eating philosophy" includes clean eating.  What more could a girl ask for?

Aren't you glad Fall is here & we can start cooking some super easy warm, delicious, healthy meals in our crock pots??  What are your favorite crock pot recipes??

Love using the crock pot, especially in the fall. I made pork chops tonight in mine and loved how they came out!

The easiest one I made last week is in my crockpot at home right NOW! I can't wait to walk in and smell the yumminess!

4 pork chops
2 cans of cream of chicken soup
1 packet of ranch mix

Crock on low for 6-8 hours and be impressed with your cookin' self!

Today, instead of chops I have boneless, skinless chicken cooking up for dinner! It's great served with a side of brown rice and veggies!

The crock pot is seriously a MEGA time saver for busy bodies like me!!

I'm glad I got over my fear that it would catch my house on fire....haha!

Next step (to simplify my life even more)...DISPOSABLE CROCK POT LINERS! That's whats up.
