We ate at Lulu’s the first night. There was a long wait and it ended up getting pretty late, but they have the coolest wait area and Jase had a BLAST

The boys loved seeing the fish in the lobby of the condo.

The next morning after breakfast we visited a park that we found a few years back on a family trip. I was pumping/sweating in the car while everyone enjoyed some time on the playground.

Then we headed to the pier. We saw someone catch a massive catfish & that was neat for Jase to see. The weather was PERFECT! September/October is the best time to go to the beach.

Family pictures with toddlers. Always a good time!

I mean, totally nailed it, right?

Might just be our Christmas card photos.

We had a delicious lunch at Oyster House and headed back to the condo for naps. Cutie Kade was his happy self the whole trip! Traveled like a little champion.

We all went swimming after naps, & Grammy cooked us an AWESOME dinner in the condo! Yum!! Thanks, Grammy!!

The next morning we headed to the beach and had a BLAST! As you can tell from the pictures, sweet baby Kade and Grammy got lots of snuggle time.

The boys had a blast playing in the sand & checking everything out. Brian caught some crabs & Jon helped the boys build a pretty sweet little sand castle.

Kade slept pretty much the whole time. He took a GREAT nap on the beach! I don’t blame him…the sound of the waves & a cool breeze…that’ll do the trick!

Lil cutie patootie beach bums!

Our whole crew- minus Grammy & Kade.

The boys had so much fun hanging out in the condo together. We had play-doh, trucks, balls, & boxes to keep them entertained while we were inside.

But we spent most of the time playing in the water.

I really felt like it did my heart some good to be there. Sometimes you just need that time to recoup, and that’s exactly what it did for me.

Our last night we ate at Lambert’s. We used to eat there when I played college softball & our team played a tournament in Orange Beach every year. The food was great & it’s a fun atmosphere.

And we took the boys for ice cream at TCBY afterwards. Can you tell this one loves his Grammy??

It was around 11 am by the time we got everything packed up the next morning. The boys were GREAT on the way home! (High five to whoever thought of putting DVD players in vehicles.) We stopped and ate lunch at Zoe’s Kitchen (one of our faves!) so they could stretch their legs. Jase took a short nap after lunch. He started to get a little restless on the last little stretch. The final 45 minutes or so felt like forever, but overall we couldn’t have asked for better little travel buddies. My mom is always the biggest help too.
Such a FUN trip!! We are blessed with a lot of family time, but it’s always special to make memories away from home and give your kiddos new experiences too. Jase has been to the beach before, but this was the first time he was really old enough to ENJOY it. He had a GREAT time!! And we loved having our sweet pea Kade with us too. Such a great time with friends too.
