The Kick Booty 300 Workout!

Big Jon asked me to do a workout with him on Saturday. We go to the gym together, but we usually do different workouts because the man lifts HEAVY, & I mostly do HIIT & body weight stuff. 

But I love him. And it was a Saturday night (yes, we have awesome date nights at the gym!). And I couldn’t think of anything to do. So I agreed.

Here’s what we did.

The 300 Workout (from the movie 300….) As fast as we could with no rest in between… (obviously I couldn’t do that much weight- and did assisted pullups)

  • Pullups - 25 reps
  • Barbell Deadlift with 135 lbs. - 50 reps
  • Pushups - 50 reps
  • 24-inch Box Jumps - 50 reps
  • Floor Wipers - 50 reps
  • Single-Arm Clean-and-Press with 36 lbs Kettlebell - 50 reps
  • Pullups - 25 reps
  • Here’s the instructions...

    I like to mix it up and keep it fresh in the gym, so it was fun to work out with Big Jon. Our gym doesn’t have classes (boo!), so I have to do something to keep myself from getting bored. This was a fun one & we’ll probably throw it in the mix every now and again.
