#babybutlernumerodos is 30 Weeks!!

(I accidentally just replaced my 29th week with my 30th week. Sad smile So sad! If anyone has access to it somewhere- in an email maybe- I would love for you to send it to me so I can get it reposted. Last week was an eventful week and I don’t want to miss it in the blog book.)

Growth: I love googling whatever week I’m at and seeing how different everyone’s baby bumps look. I am just amazed at how God makes us all so unique and every single pregnancy different and special.

This week, Kade  has about a pint and a half of amniotic fluid surrounding him, but that volume will shrink as he gets bigger and takes up more room in my uterus. His eyesight continues to develop, though it's not very keen. His brain is growing, his bone marrow is making red blood cells, and his lanugo is disappearing. Little man is growing and getting ready to come meet the rest of the fam!

My Symptoms: I have definitely had more Braxton Hicks this pregnancy than I ever did with Jase. I’ll have to look back to see if I even had them at all? A few of them have been pretty intense. The round ligament pain from a few weeks ago has completely subsided though.

I know you can’t tell with that awesome basement lighting, but I am breaking out something serious. I think it’s because I fell asleep on the couch like 6 nights in a row without washing my face. Oops.

 IMG_6329

Overall, I really feel great & am so thankful to be feeling so good at this point!!

Weight/Baby Bump: Up 18 lbs at my appointment on Tuesday. I am carrying ALL in front (he is sticking straight out) and lower this time. You can’t tell much from the front, but when I turn to the side- well hellllllo, torpedo belly! I can’t wait to see how big that thing is going to get over the next 9-10 weeks! It feels pretty heavy so I’m probably going to get one of those support bands soon. Anyone have a brand they recommend?

IMG_6341IMG_6342

Gender: BOY.

Maternity Clothes: Definitely.

Movement: Whooooooa, baby! I can feel him really well because of the way he is positioned and the way I am carrying him. He is a strong little guy for sure, and he gets especially wild at night. Love watching him move all over the place and it is such a neat feeling too- even when it almost takes my breath away and feels like he might punch straight through my belly button.

Sleep: Sleeping well. Enjoying naps while Jase naps.

Cravings/Aversions: Banana pudding. Jase helped me make it and helped me eat it. Smile

Appointment: My appointment was on 3/31 & I saw one of the awesome midwives. My blood pressure was 101/65 and I was up 18 lbs from pre-preg weight. She measured and felt my belly to see how we’re looking and Kade is measuring between 30-31 weeks, probably around 3.3-3.4 lbs, and on track to weigh about the same as his brother (Jase was 8 lbs, 5 oz). He is head down, booty pressing out right at my belly button. (Turkey timer in full action!) I asked if she’d ever seen a belly button rupture and she said no. Ha! (Seriously though, my skin is so thin and the way he’s positioned it feels like it might rip.)

IMG_6340

I also asked several other questions & she was so nice & patient with all of them.

*My sugar was 137 during my glucose test, so I asked if I needed to be more cautious about carbs and sugar. She said since I passed and am so healthy, she thinks I’ll be fine continuing to eat like I am (which is pretty healthy for the most part).

*I have a weird skin tag I just noticed under my left breast. It is weird and kinda gross. I know your skin can do strange things when you’re pregnant, but she said it’s nothing to worry about and may or may not go away after the baby comes. I can’t see it unless I’m looking for it, but she said I can get it cut off down the road if I need to for some reason. (I can’t really think of a reason?)

*I asked when I’ll get my test to see if I’m GBS + or negative and she said that comes at the 36 week appointment. I am praying I am negative this time so I can avoid the antibiotic. (You want to have it in your system for at least 4 hours before the baby is born.) One of the doctors told me that some OBs treat you every time once you have tested positive, but that pediatricians are now asking expecting moms to be retested with each subsequent pregnancy to avoid the antibiotic if it’s not necessary. Some pediatricians believe it’s leading to antibiotic resistance in children.

*Juicing. SO, I’ve read that it’s totally fine and a great way to get nutrients, but also read it can be too much of some nutrients and can lead to vitamin deficiencies in the baby. I juice every 2-3 days, so I wanted to hear her thoughts. She said it was fine. I’ve cut back some just in case, but Jase and Jon both LOVE when I juice and it’s a great way to get in lots of veggies so I’ve continued. Still taking the highest quality prenatals and Omegas out there too, so I know Mr. Kade is getting the good stuff.

*I wanted to know when I should try to come in when I start labor and how I will know to come in. I know, I’ve done this before….but, it’s different because I’m going to attempt a VBAC. Last time I was able to labor at home as long as possible and was dilated at a 7 (I had no clue I was so far along!) before I even went in to the doctor’s office to get checked. Of course they sent me right to the hospital and I was about an 8 by the time I got there. I know I need to get to the hospital sooner this time so they can monitor me and the baby, so I’m just praying God will give us wisdom and let us know exactly when we need to go to the hospital. Also starting to pray specifically for the doctors and nurses God wants us to have. They make such a HUGE difference in your labor experience!

*I also asked her opinion about an epidural. One doctor said I should really get one in case of the need for an emergency c-section (so I won’t have to be put all the way under and will be able to be awake when Kade is born), but she felt like I could definitely give it a shot without one. I’m going to talk to a few more doctors at my next appointments and pray about it, but I am going to start getting more serious about Bradley exercises and coaching practice with Jonathan just in case.

Accomplishments: We ordered nursery furniture (it has already arrived) & Jonathan is working like a mad man to get the basement finished. When he’s done, we can move guest bedroom furniture down there & really get rolling on the nursery. We also locked in a shower date- SO thankful for sweet friends willing to love on us. I am super awkward about showers/parties and invitation lists give me anxiety (because I don’t want anyone to feel obligated and I also don’t want anyone to feel left out). But, I am so thankful for friends who love me through my awkwardness and want to help us welcome our new little guy.

Best Pregnancy Moment of the Week: Loved hearing our choir at our church’s night of worship, and also enjoyed lunch and catching up with my sweet friend Chelsea. I always love doctor’s appointments too and getting to hear that sweet heartbeat. What a precious reminder of the Lord’s gift!

image

Work Outs: Body pump 2x and chasing Jase around for cardio. I don’t do any planks or pushups, and I lift super light weight. I always, always listen to my body and stop/slow down if I need to. And if I’m too tired, I don’t work out. I am trying to stay as active as possible though. Jase is a busy bee so he doesn’t give me much choice.

IMG_6339

Goals for next week: Register. (I mostly need some breastfeeding supplies & diapers. Maybe a few other off & end things, but for the most part we have everything we need. Definitely don’t need any clothes!) Review Bradley books/workbooks.

Thoughts: HOME STRETCH!! 30 weeks feels so REAL to me.  Jonathan is getting super excited too and we just can’t wait to meet this sweet baby. I don’t feel any sadness about our last time with just Jase (maybe that will come? I hear moms talking about that sometimes)…mostly just pure excitement for him to be a big brother and so THANKFUL to be growing our family. Children are such a blessing, and I cannot wait to see my love multiply as we grow by one more. I am so excited to love and kiss on another sweet baby. Cannot wait to see what he looks like, his temperament, and his little personality shine through!! Seriously, being a mom is the BEST. I feel like my heart could burst and he’s not even hear yet.

We have started going every 2 weeks, and after 36 weeks we’ll be going weekly. It’s almost here, y’all. Woooo!!!

I am not one to typically be anxious, but I have struggled with fear throughout this pregnancy. I am about to order Supernatural Childbirth after about the 5th person recommending it to me. I trust the Lord, and I know any fearful thoughts are not from Him. Memorizing and meditating on Scripture is helping, and it also helps knowing Jonathan has started praying more specifically this time.

#babybutlernumerodos….and we have a NAME!

I have liked this name from the beginning, but it has taken a while to grow on Jonathan. Early on in this pregnancy he thought the baby was a girl, and we’ve I’ve had a girl name picked out for about 3 –4 years. We had nothing for a boy though. This just kinda popped in my head one day and has stuck with me. I couldn’t ever get it out of my head and the more I hear it, the more I like it.

We like short, single syllable, strong sounding names. I really like J & K names for a boy. And it’s a little bit annoying to go by a middle name, but ya know, I’ve managed my whole life. (My first name is Amber.) Now Jase and #babybutlernumerodos get to take after their mama and experience it too. (It just sounds better in this order.)

Our  little guy is going to be…

Andrew Kade Butler!!!

And we’re going to call him Kade.

photo (13)

(Ummmmm, it JUST hit me for the very first time ever that since Kate will be part of our girl name when/if we have a girl, that is going to sound similar. But she’s going to have a double name so maybe it won’t be that big of a deal. Oops.)

In the New Testament the apostle Andrew, the first disciple to join Jesus. I have read that it means “man, strong, warrior, manly.” I can’t even really think of anyone I know named Andrew, but for some reason I just REALLY like the way it sounds. Kade means “from the wetlands.” We live on the lake, so I mean, that counts, right?

So there it is!

Andrew KadeKade Butler…we are praying for you by name, my sweet boy. You are already so very loved!! We cannot WAIT to meet you.

#babybutlernumerodos is 28 Weeks!!

7 months pregnant and less than 12 weeks to go!

Growth:

image

By this week, your baby weighs 2 1/4 pounds (about the size of a large eggplant) and measures 14.8 inches from the top of his head to his heels.

He can blink his eyes, which now sport lashes. With his eyesight developing, he may be able to see the light that filters in through my womb. He's also developing billions of neurons in his brain and adding more body fat in preparation for life in the outside world.

My Symptoms: I have been pretty tired this week. I feel like my belly button might burst because he is right behind it and that’s where I feel the majority of the movement. Other than that though, I feel great & can’t complain! Still loving being pregnant and am thankful for another great pregnancy.

Weight/Baby Bump: At my appointment on Tuesday I was up +15 lbs from pre-preg weight. Looking at this bump though, you’d think I was due any day! Hard to believe we have about 12 more weeks of growing. My belly just gets BIG. I don’t mind it though. Sweet reminder of that precious life I get to grow! I did have a dream one night this week that I had an ultrasound and there were actually 5 babies in there…4 boys and 1 girl!! Whoa!!! Can you even imagine the size of the belly I would have if that were real?? #wokeupsweating

Hahah! After he took this one, Jon said “Babe, you may wanna cover that up.” I can’t believe that thing ever goes back to normal, but it does.

photo 1 (13)

photo 2 (15)photo 3 (10)

Appointment: I had my appointment on Tuesday this week & it was full of being poked with needles. I really think the Lord is delivering me from my fear of them. I just don’t look and don’t even think about it and it’s not too terribly bad. I used to legit almost pass out at the thought and get major anxiety about it.

At this appointment I had the glucose test & should get results soon. I chose the orange drink again, and maybe it’s the fat kid in me, but I don’t think it tastes that bad. To me it tastes like an orange Fanta and the worst part is definitely skipping breakfast. Makes me feel kinda crummy all day when I don’t eat something within 30-45 minutes of waking up. I also had my finger pricked to check my iron which was great. They want it to be over 11 and mine was 12.9. Thank you great vitamins! I also got the Rhogam shot because have Rh negative blood type. (FYI- my arm was CRAZY sore the next day.) AND I got the DTap booster in the hip. (Told ya it was a lot of needles.) That joker HURT!!  My doctor said the APA is now recommending expecting moms to get the booster while pregnant rather than right after so the baby can start building immunity in utero. The antibodies don’t actually cross the placenta so it’s safe, and they continue to come through mom’s breastmilk when you nurse. He said if I was his daughter he would want me to have it, so that was all I needed to hear. He did recommend for dad to go ahead and get a booster too though, so Jon will be heading to the health department soon. As far as the rest of the appointment, my blood pressure was 106/68 and the baby’s heart beat was a strong and healthy 144. I was measuring right at 28 weeks and everything looked good. I will start going every 2 weeks from here on out. That means it’s getting realllllllll.

Gender: Sweet baby boy.

Maternity Clothes: Yes, and it is finally WARRRRRRM  outside! Hallelujah!! Seriously, this weather is perfect. I can’t even remember the last time I had a manicure or pedicure, but it’s sandal season in Georgia, folks, so it’s time. Ready for some comfy cotton dresses and skirts. (Maternity pants are way overrated to me anyway.)

And this isn’t clothes related, but I did chop my hair this week. I really love short little bobs so I thought I was ready for a change. Not that I will start actually doing my hair now either, but I’m kinda regretting  cutting it. Maybe I just need to get used to it? Thankfully it’ll still go into a ponytail & will grow quickly.

Here’s the before and after. It was some MAJOR inches off!

photo 4 (9)photo 5 (5)

Movement: I actually Googled to see if there is such a thing as “too much movement” and if it’s anything I should be alarmed about. This boy is WILD. And STRONG. I even asked the doctor about it. Of course it’s just a sign of a healthy baby, but he did say after 4 kiddos himself, he and his wife have determined that how they act in the womb is how they’ll act outside. Sooooo, after this baby is born…Spark?? Make it a double. Mama’s gotta keep up with the boys!

Sleep: I’ve been sleeping pretty well but taking daily naps. I personally take KILLER naps in our guest bed, so I’ve been sneaking upstairs during Jase’s nap. It makes me function better the whole rest of the day so I’d say it’s a win all the way around. Jonathan usually goes to the gym while we sleep.

Also, lots of people have asked about the tart cherry juice. Here’s the kind I drink. I find it in the organic section at the grocery store. 1/2 cup at night (through a straw) does the trick for me. A former co-worker’s wife is a pharmacist and recommended it. Since I can’t have Sleep Works when pregnant, this is my alternative.

R.W. Knudsen Just Tart Cherry Fruit Juice Drink, 32 fl oz

Cravings/Aversions: Ummmmmm, this. Every day. Sorry y’all, they’re already sold out. No aversions that I can think of…

Work Outs: Chasing Jase around. I have decided that TOTALLY counts for a work out. And if you don’t believe me, come on over and give it a whirl. He will give you a run for your money!! Alllllllll boy.

Goals for next week: Do some yoga/stretching. Start thinking about the nursery & registering. Announce the name. Get caught up on the blog. Finish taxes. (ummmm, this is the exact same list as my 24 week post because I haven’t done any of this yet…time to get on it!)

Thoughts: I think I am taking the whole “relax and soak up pregnancy” thing a little too seriously. We haven’t even started preparing at all yet and have nothing ready. NOTHING. I haven’t even been doing pregnancy stretches. Jon has started working on finishing the basement so we can move one of the guest bedroom sets down there and start working on the nursery, so I guess that counts, right? We have also debated about whether to convert Jase’s bed to a big boy bed and just buy a new crib or get a new bed for Jase and give the baby his crib. Honestly, I am in NO RUSH to put Jase in a big boy bed or convert his, so we are leaning towards getting a new crib. I don’t really understand why people are in such a hurry for their kids to grow up? He does awesome in his crib and sleeps like an angel, so as far as I see it, why mess with a good thing? Jase’s nursery furniture was super nice & pretty expensive. Real wood. And he pretty much gnawed off all of the finish when he was teething, so… we’re just going to go cheaper this time.

I’ve also had a little bit of anxiety about the actual labor and delivery. For some reason it just keeps popping in my head that I’m going to have a c-section again, so I’m not sure if that’s the enemy trying to plant fear or the Lord trying to prepare me. Honestly, as long as the baby gets here healthy, I’ll be super thankful. If there is one thing I learned from having Jase it’s that I am NOT in control. And for that, I am learning to be content and thankful! I definitely trust the Lord’s plans. Jonathan reminds me allllll the time that we want this baby to come however God wants to get him here and be 100% confident. There is definitely rest in that.

Highlands, NC Weekend Getaway

Our working situation is pretty unique and allows for a LOT of family time. That is definitely a blessing we don’t take for granted and allows us to make sure Jase gets lots of uninterrupted time with us. Meal times are especially sacred, and either one or the other of us is always with him during the day if the other is busy working the business. But, we also don’t take a whole lot of time to completely “unplug.”

This past weekend (Mar 5-8) we decided to take a last minute trip to the Highlands, NC and decided we would totally unplug for the weekend. We went with my parents. They have been pretty stressed out & my poor Daddy has been working way too hard. They have super full plates right now and really needed some time to relax & unwind, so we decided to make it happen. Mom & I debated about where to go because we all really like going to the mountains in TN, but we didn’t want to drive quite that far for this trip.  Highlands is an awesome place to visit, and if you’ve never been, I highly recommend it. I feel like it’s a little more of an adult friendly place, but Jase had a blast & it was an awesome, much needed getaway.

11040083_675595815885211_1990353447_n

We headed out Thursday evening & thankfully it’s only about an hour and half drive from our house. We all rode together and mom & dad brought their 4 little dogs with them too. Not going to lie- I had a little bit of anxiety riding on those super curvy mountain roads while it was dark, so I tried not to pay too much attention. About halfway there I completely lost service on my phone and didn’t get it back until we were halfway home- 3 days later! I really think that was God’s way of shutting me down because He knew I would be tempted to not 100% avoid my phone the way we planned. I was the only one of the four of us to have NO service the whole time.

Having the little dogs meant we had to stay at a pet friendly place, and sometimes those can be kinda junky. We ended up staying at The Park on Main and it was GORGEOUS. Our suite was pretty big and had a whole separate living room where Jase slept in his pack n play. He loved playing in the courtyard, walking the dogs, and visiting my parents in their suite next door. He also enjoyed running around our room and playing in the bathroom.

8640486_3_zKing-Suite-BedroomKing-Suite-Living-RoomRegular-Bath

The rooms were really fresh & classic, so the only thing we didn’t like about the hotel was their continental breakfast. It was little weak. Mostly pastries and carbs, so Jon & I had shakes I brought from home. Jase had raisin toast with yogurt and a banana or cereal. I don’t like giving him dairy when we are away from home because it’s not usually organic and I’m pretty picky about our dairy, but a few days won’t hurt, right? I also made homemade protein bars and chocolate protein bites for us and my parents as snacks, and mom brought some sliced fruit and raw veggies. We were pretty set with snacks.

When we arrived in town we checked in our hotel and headed to dinner at a local pizza place. (I brought Carb-Ease and FiboTrim for everyone else.) We headed back to the room and it was Jase’s bedtime, so after we put him down me and Jon watched some t.v. together before bed.

We spent the majority of the weekend walking around town & exploring. The shops are adorable, and our FAVORITE place was the little grocery store in town. They have a pizza place, coffee shop, grill, bakery, olive oil/vinegar bar, and lots of the organic stuff we buy at home. They even had homemade almond butter, local honey, homemade soap, etc.  We ate lunch at the grill one day and it was really good, but our favorite part was the homemade doughnuts. TOTALLY worth the splurge!

It ended up being prettttty cold. WAY colder than we were prepared for, so we let Jase wear pj pants under his jeans and bought him a Carhartt hat at Ace Hardware. I think it’s actually a women’s hat, so I’ll gladly wear that bad boy.

11039376_675595745885218_1960925995_n11047005_675595575885235_393907273_n11050996_675595615885231_167635090_n11012290_675595829218543_1828602252_nphoto 4 (8)

Jase had a blast playing on the playground at a local park. Of course he had to let Granddaddy hold onto his rocks for him.

We also fed the ducks (which got a littttttle scary- those guys can be ferocious).

photo 1 (12)photo 3 (8)photo 2 (13)

We did drive to a few nearby places to check out some waterfalls & small towns. Franklin had a kids arcade place called “The Factory” and we spent a while playing in there before dinner. We used our tickets to get some little cars and dinosaurs for Jase, and those ended up being life savers during the weekend.

photo 1 (11)photo 2 (14)photo 5 (3)

They entertained him when we ate at Wolfgang’s our last night, which was a higher end restaurant. Probably one of our favorite places we ate other than a small café for brunch on the way home. No idea the name of it though. Just a hole-in-the-wall place with seriously yummy breakfast food.

photo 3 (9)photo 5 (4)

We were originally planning on staying Thursday-Saturday and coming home Saturday afternoon, but decided to stay another night since we got such a good rate and were having such a relaxing time. We headed home Sunday after we woke up and made it back just in time for Jase’s nap.

Great weekend and lots of sweet memories with my parents! So thankful for a much needed “unplugged” getaway and time of rest! Can’t wait to head back to the Highlands during warmer weather.

#babybutlernumerodos is 27 Weeks!!

Well, I completely missed week 25 & 26. I’m officially 27 weeks & in the third trimester as of today! Here’s what we’ve been up to the last few weeks.

Growth:

 image

My Symptoms: I feel great! I know I am truly blessed to have great pregnancies and I am so thankful I enjoy being pregnant.  I am a little tired & I definitely get worn out quicker than normal, but that’s probably normal with a really active toddler anyway. it helps to take a short nap while Jase naps, and if I can squeeze it in that keeps me going till bed time. My belly button is so stretched out that sometimes it’s a little uncomfortable. Round ligament pain went away though- praise the Lord! Going to try to make it to the chiropractor for an adjustment soon.

Weight/Baby Bump: I’m up about 13-14 lbs at this point. My belly is serious business though!! I feel like it tripled in size of the past few weeks! I definitely look MUCH bigger from the side than I do from the front too.

photo 4 (6)photo 5 (2)

{Ignore the awesome background. Jon is finishing the basement.}

Gender: Sweet little fella! Love being a boy mom & can’t wait to see these brothers grow up together. We do have name, so I’ll share that soon. It’s what I originally picked out and I guess it has grown on Jon. YAY!

Maternity Clothes: You know it! Nothing else is comfortable.

photo 2 (12)

Movement: Whoa!! I grow some seriously STRONG little fellas. Movement is outrageous, especially right in the center of my tummy around my belly button. He gets especially wild at night right before bed. Sounds familiar. (Jase is the same way.)

Sleep: Staying up too late. (Oops.) Switching sides a lot which means waking up every time to roll over. The organic tart cherry juice helps when I remember it. And it is SO refreshing! I slept like poo when we went out of town so I was glad to get home to our bed.

Cravings/Aversions: Sweets. Give me all the sweets!! Ha! Seriously though, after a weekend away, I am glad to be home and back on track.  I juice every day or every other day, and just made my first smoothie of this pregnancy. (I haven’t felt the need for them as much since I’ve been juicing.) French onion soup has probably been my favorite food this pregnancy, & I could eat Italian pretty much every day I think. I randomly craved Thai food one day so I made this. Other than that, I am not digging meat, but I’ve never really been a big meat eater anyway. I still get plenty of protein.

photo 3 (7)

Work Outs: I’ve been slacking a little on the workouts, but I’ve been chasing Jase around and playing with him a ton so that definitely makes up for it. If you know my Jase you know he is wide open & keeps me busy! Love all his energy. SO PUMPED about some warmer weather too & going on walks.

Seriously HAVE to get some yoga & stretching in my life. Stat.

I also read you’re not supposed to do front planks (oops- stopping those ASAP) and not supposed to hold your belly in. I have to be intentional about that because it’s just a habit and sometimes I don’t even realize I’m doing it. I’m not trying to suck in or anything, but I know it helps have a strong core, so I have trained myself to hold my abs in most of the time. Trying to untrain myself now.

photo 1 (10)

Goals for next week: Do some yoga/stretching. Start thinking about the nursery & registering. Announce the name. Get caught up on the blog. Finish taxes. (ummmm, this is the exact same list as my 24 week post because I haven’t done any of this yet…time to get on it!)

Thoughts: Only 12 weeks away!! I feel like this pregnancy has FLOWN by! I’ve had anxiety a few times about the labor/delivery and it’s always a great reminder to pray, pray, pray. I totally trust whatever the Lord has in store and cannot wait to see how He will be glorified through the birth story however it turns out. If there is one thing I learned with having Jase, it is that our God is sovereign. No amount of preparation, willpower, or prayer can make things go “according to your plan” when God has something different in mind. We are praying to be able to successfully VBAC (mostly because we both want a big family & aren’t sure yet how well my body heals internally from a c-section), but are open to whatever is going to get him here with both healthy mama & baby. Not excited that I’ll probably have to have an epidural and that I won’t be able to labor at home as long this go round.  I was 7 cm dilated before I even went to the doctor to get checked with Jase & they obviously sent me right to the hospital. I have a pretty high pain tolerance an had no idea I was so far along, so I am really hoping I am able to tell this time.

I have the glucose screening at my next appointment and we will start going every 2 weeks after this next appointment. Praying not to be GBS + this time either so I can avoid antibiotics. I am thankful for modern medicine, but would still prefer to avoid it and be as natural as possible.

No matter what, we cannot WAIT to meet our precious new blessing!! Newborn smell miiiiiiight just be my favorite smell in the entire world. I have never smelled anything sweeter than Jase as a baby, and I know I will feel the same way this time. Cannot wait!

Jase was a super easy angel baby, so I am looking forward to meeting #babybutlernumerodos and figuring him out. I know every child is different and I cannot wait to see his unique little personality!! I do e could be a totally handful, but we.are.ready. I do remember feeling a little zombie mode the first few weeks Jase was born & like I was nursing 24/7, so it’ll be interesting to see how that works with a really active 2 year old. Makes me even more thankful for a business that allows us both to work from home. I know Jon will be a huge, huge help (as he already is) and we have really supportive family & friends too.

We are getting ready to head to TX. Super excited to see lots of sweet friends!! I’ll be flying at about 33 weeks, but it’s a short, easy flight and my doctor gave us the okay. We recently had to decline a trip we earned from AdvoCare because I’ll be too far along to drive 8 hours from home.  A little bummed because the trips are AWESOME, but who can complain when you’ll be getting to snuggle a sweet newborn soon?? We earned Hawaii in 2013 and had to decline that because it was right around when Jase was born, so I just wanted to keep it fair game. Winking smile Now both of these boys owe mama & daddy a trip when they grow up!
