I LOVE Andy Andrews. He is an incredible author and speaker, and if you’ve never read his books, I highly encourage you to check them out. A few of my favorites are the Traveler’s Gift, The Noticer, The Noticer Returns, and The Final Summit. They have been so impactful on our lives and are really applicable to every area. He is a great storyteller and all of his books keep you so intrigued, all while teaching valuable life lessons that change your thinking (for the better) and help you become a better version of yourself.
He is passionate about helping people become better parents, and really, what better legacy can we leave than raising kids who turn into GREAT adults who are difference makers and a light in this dark world? The Noticer Returns is not even really designed to be a parenting book per se, but hands down has some of the most wisdom about parenting of any book I have read. (And I read a LOT.) Right before Success School, he had an offer with 4 free twenty minute videos. You know I am all about some FREE wisdom, so I was all over that! Jonathan & I listened to the videos before bed each night & definitely gained some valuable insights. Obviously we are brand new to the whole parenting thing, so we really try to learn from people (who we consider mentors) that have raised kids that are becoming great adults. Honestly, I’m like a LEACH & I will cling to them and pick their brain any chance I get. Thankfully, I am surrounded with some incredible parents. Between teaching middle school for 5 years (and being yearbook advisor, which meant I got to work with some of the top students in the entire school), teaching Sunday School for 6 years (where I had some awesome young ladies), and teaching/coaching for about 10 years (to some really dedicated athletes with great attitudes and work ethic), I have access to some parents who are doing some things really well. I am so thankful for the opportunity to observe how they do things and learn from them.

Thank you for the link! We did a course called Raising Kids God's Way last year... I have recently read the book again. I have read a lot of parenting books but this series REALLY gave me food for thought! They teach / suggest things that make you think... what? that could never work... until you try it on your own kids and it works like a charm. I love that they motivate everything Biblically. x
