Today was the first day of Daylight Savings time….”Falling back.” I’ve been working for the last few days to start transitioning him and preparing for the time change, but he woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed, ready to go at 7:30 am. We’ve been able to get him back on normal times as the day progressed, and it has been quite a BIG day for our little man!
We introduced him to solids for the first time today….You can read all about it and see his presh pictures HERE.
He’s also been moving & scooting all over! He’s definitely got the combat crawl down and gets so frustrated when he can’t move on all fours as fast as he wants. Mr. INDEPENDENT!! (Mom said I was just like that…guess he gets it honest.)
We are also pretty sure he is saying “Mama.” Maybe it’s just coincidence and his “m” consonant sounds resemble Mama, but he seems to say it at times he wants me & will almost say it on command….so….we are thinking it’s intentional.
He was making the “mamamama” sound over and over, and of course I didn’t have the video ready, but I snapped a few pics.
We caught some of it on video when we got back inside though.
What a BIG day for Baby Jase!! I can’t help but feel a little bittersweet about how fast he is growing up. Of course I am excited for all of his new milestones and they are so fun, but I also feel like it happened overnight and he just instantly turned in to a big boy! No matter what, he will always be my sweet baby…

he's def saying MAMA! Yay go you! lol just this weekend we went to my Father in law's and they were all telling me.. "You know her first words are going to me Dada, so just prepare yourself to not be disappointed.." So cute!
