July 4- July 10
Weight: Jase is definitely a 13 pounder!! And sheesh, he is LONG!! I can’t wait to see how much he has grown at his next appointment. He is already in 3 months clothing and has outgrown his Swaddles & lots of onsies. His little face is filling out and he already looks so grown!
I think I’m annoying him being “Momarazzi” with the camera. Either that or he’s tired of the 9 million kisses he gets every day….but who can even resist those precious little lips?!?!
Health: Lil man is SO alert!!! We go Friday for his 2 month shots…still praying & researching on that one. Waiting for God to give me clarity and a peace…
Sleep: Naps are decent. Nighttime we are waking up around 2:30-3 & again around 6ish. I want closer to a 7 am start time so I’m just holding him back to sleep till then…
Seriously?!?!? MELT MY HEART. Such sweetness…
Nursing: Big boy likes to eat!! Feedings are still around 35 minutes. He doesn’t spit up really- maybe once a week or so. He stops eating when he needs to burp & won’t latch back on till I burp him…and that’s helpful because I forget sometimes! I love that he reminds me.
What Jase is up to: He turned 2 months old on July 8th!! He was pretty excited about his “birthday”…
This was our second week back at church, & we tried to go to both services. I fed him at 7 am, again at 10 in SS, & everyone wanted to talk after church so we didn’t get to leave till around 1… and he was NOT happy about it in the car! He also didn’t really take a nap at church. Still working on figuring all that out. Being a parent is such a learning process!
We LOVED having Daddy home from work for 4 days in a row!!
LOTS of singing & playing going on. (Better put it on silent so you don’t have to hear my singing.)
His schedule is pretty consistent at 7, 10, 12:30, 3:30, 6:30, 8:30, and a dream feed at 10:30 (bedtime).
PostPartum: Mama’s feeling good!!
Baby Gear: Pampers Size 1 Swaddlers, Miracle blanket, blackout curtains, Aveeno bath products, onsies, activity mat, bouncy seat, Angel Care monitor, Medela storage bags & bottles, breast pads, Pandora (praise & worship), children’s books
Thoughts: Feeling overwhelmingly blessed. Love our sweet baby more than words…a kind of love I didn’t know was possible.
Look at those long eyelashes. What an angel baby!
