Spoiled at the Arizona Biltmore

I know it’s no secret that we absolutely LOVE being a part of Advocare. Not only are the products top of the line and changing lives, but the company is world class too.  We especially love the integrity behind the company that is definitely unmatched in the market.  Being a part of this incredible company has changed our health, finances, and future….and we truly feel so blessed to be a part of something so great. I know that sounds so cheesy, but we mean it. Even Jon said to me on the way home from the airport that he thanks God every day for Advocare.

One of the many great things about this company is they value and reward hard work. “You do, you get.” Jonathan & I are extremely hard workers, and unfortunately neither of our careers offer bonuses, trips, incentives, etc. That’s yet another reason we are so thankful the Lord put Advocare in our paths.  When you work hard and are compensated for that, it allows your more freedoms and to be more generous.

We earned a trip this summer to the beautiful Amelia Island, and were blessed enough to earn another trip to the BILTMORE in ARIZONA last week.

I will say, Advocare does these trips right! This was an ALL EXPENSE paid trip (from flights, to airport transfers, all meals, and a credit to spend while at the resort). When we arrived, they gave us the cutest goody bags with hot air balloon shaped sugar cookies, huge beach towels, and lots of Advo goodies.  The Biltmore was gorgeous, but also so filled with rich history. Since it has opened, EVERY American president to date (except Obama) has visited the Biltmore. My dad would have LOVED it!

Check out our view for the week!

We spent a LOT of time relaxing and hanging out with some AWESOME friends. We got to hear Andy Andrews speak (he was PHENOMENAL- loved everything he had to say….especially about parenting!), watch a killer dance contest, and be part of some FABULOUS dinners! They absolutely spoiled us all week!! They also took us out in a HOT AIR BALLOON ride across the desert, but we opted out of that one for a couple reasons. (One being that one of the two of us is TERRIFIED of heights….can you guess who?!?)

Some of our sweet friends enjoying the excursion. Everyone loved it!!

We spent that time napping and laying by the pool. I know lots of people like to go and do while on vacay, but our life is SO BUSY and non-stop go, go, go that we really enjoy the downtime. That’s what vacation is all about to us!

Hangin in the hot tub after the belly flop competition.

This was my favorite night…..dinner at A Different Point of View….a restaurant with an absolutely GORGEOUS view!

We had lots of free time for reading, shopping, & laying by the pools…..

We got to check out Pier 1 and decide on a Farmhouse table for Big Jon to build for our dining room. (My husband is THE MAN.)

And the pools were gorgeous. All 7 of them!

I’m sure I’m the only weirdo with pants and long sleeves on in the desert, but we were heading to the airport and I always freeze on planes.

One of my FAVORITE things we did was the wheelchair build! We made a competition out of it, and together, our organization paid for and built 75 wheelchairs (the most ever for an event like this) to go to local people in need from over 7 different charities. I love that they choose to be a blessing to others! I’m not very mechanical, so I ended up decorating bags and encouraging the people on my team who were putting them together.

We had SUCH a GREAT time on the trip and are so thankful we had this opportunity. This was my first time in Arizona…..actually neither of us had ever been….so it was a very cool experience we will never forget!
