Where do I get my clumsiness??

Nashville 304

One funny thing from the TRIP I wanted to share….(no pun intended…)

At two separate times I watched BOTH of my brothers step off a curb and almost roll their ankles. Ryan even fell all the way to the ground in the hotel and got a big knot on his knee, and Bryan almost ran into a sign while pushing the stroller. He ducked last minute.

When I looked down at my hand (which has STILL not totally healed….I’m telling ya, it was deep!), I couldn’t help but smile and laugh a little on the inside.

Those who know me well have probably seen me do all of these things on multiple occasions.

I have always felt super, super comfortable and special about being adopted. But I could never participate in the convos when people talk about similarities with their families- physical traits, personality traits, etc. Like I said, that was one of my favorite parts of the trip was seeing even the little things……like these clumsy boys, and knowing where I get it.

So sweet, I didn't know you were adopted until last week when I read your lost about meeting your family. I think adoption is a beautiful thing and would love to hear more about your story (or is it on the blog and I am just missing it?). My husband and I are considering adoption in the future...oh and Happy FRIDAY! :)

How cool! When I was 18 I found out that I had a sibling that was placed up for adoption before I was born. I have always wondered about him, and have even considered searching for him, but almost feel uncomfortable doing so. Reading this post helped me to feel better about doing so, thank you for your openness. I have read your blog for quite some time, and I admire your faith, dedication to health and fitness, and family!

:) I love it. I love family traits like that ... I think ours must be arguing. :P
