HaPpY VaLeNtInE’s DaY!!!!!
I’m not a huge fan of Valentine’s Day….I think it’s a little cheesy and I’m not much of the romantic type….but I do LOVE all the red and pink everywhere!!
I told Big Jon I didn’t want any gifts, and I’m not just saying that with the whole underlying threat of ‘you better get me something anyway.’ He seriously does SO much for me and to help me already that I can’t even think of anything else I want or need. Yea, cheesy, but true.
We did spend a night at beautiful Chateau Elan…
and enjoyed a delicious dinner at Versailles with our lovely friends, the Doss’!
Today I am enjoying some beautiful flowers he sent me at work….I mean, what girl doesn’t love flowers on her desk??
He also totally cleaned my car…inside & out! There is NOTHING better than a clean car!! I love practical gifts!
(He bought me a really nice camera for my wedding gift, and I know some might think that’s not sentimental enough, but I have used it SOOO much and love capturing all our sweet memories with it.)

…Well, sorry, I can’t disclose that information here. But I can say it’ll probably be in the top 3 favorites of any gift I’ve ever given him. (He really loves the guitar I bought him for our wedding, and his GPS…bless him…..no sense of direction!)

I'm with you, I find the whole pressure of valentine's day cheesy, but I LOVE loving on those I care about.

What a great Valentine's Day you're having! We don't do gifts or anything, but we're planning on cooking a nice meal together tonight, making a fire and hanging out on the couch with our pups. Sounds like the perfect romantic evening to me!
practical gifts are so underrated! i got a new camera from the hubby from christmas and absolutely ADORE it! i use it way more than most of the other gifts he has given me in the past ;) and how i can capture all the fun things we do! hope you have a great night and that your hubs likes his gift!!

I love practical gifts! I got my hubby one of those really nice pillows as his gift. :) He works so hard and deserves good sleep.
