"Why I Hate Religion, But Love Jesus"

This is all up in FB right now, but dang, it is so, so good. Super powerful, such truth. I love the message behind it. I think it's exactly why many non-believers are turned off from Christianity....all of the "religion" we preach but don't back up with our actions or lifestyles.

Striving to fall more in love with Jesus and be a true Christ follower...

Check it out. Good stuff.

Amazing. I feel like this can apply to any of god's religions. I am Muslim, and I feel the same way.

I think his message comes from a good place but looking on my experience I would have never be able to have the relationship with my Savior and Heavenly Father without my religion. I think the religions you are exposed to influences how you feel about religion in general. Belonging to the church I do, I am so grateful for my religion and know that I would be lost without it.

I appreciate where was was coming from, but tend to agree with Julie. I believe that 'hypocrisy' would have been a better word than 'religion'. Voddie Baucham Ministries wrote a critique and Mr. Bethke even agreed with what he said regarding his word choice. That, too, really shows humility on Bethke's part and as Julie said, where he's coming from too! -Jami
