** that no one really laughed at my “jokes” last night. They were funny and I know it.
** that even though I get a whole 2 weeks off at Christmas, I still wish the break was longer (and started sooner!).
**that I won’t go to the grocery store until we eat up most of the food in our freezer and pantry, so I’m living on boiled eggs and school lunches.
**that I have NO $ left and I don’t get paid till next Friday.
**that I slept in and didn’t run this morning, but am super pumped about meeting my boo at the gym tonight for some legs + abs.
**that I turned the heat off before I left the house because I know my hubby will turn it on before I come home. Frugal? Yes. Rude? Maybe a little.
**that I still don’t have my Christmas cards yet….yikes!
**that I am holding onto hope of going to NYC for Christmas and spent at least an hour yesterday looking for vacation packages.
**that I’m too lazy to go to the Sprint store to get my contacts switched, so I have to use my context clues to figure out who every text message is from.
**that I set some new house rules – no internet after 9 and gym 5 days a week- and I’ve already broken them both. Oops.

Same thing with the heat
Totally with you on the heat. I'm loving your house rules and just might make them apart of our 2012 resolutions!
Don't worry! I just ordered my Christmas cards last night. We didn't have a good picture! I made my dad come over and take it because it was driving me crazy! I like your rules. Sometimes I think I need to tell myself stop looking at your phone after 9:00. My husband is telling me I am always on it!
I like your house rules! Good ones!
Are your ordering Christmas cards with pictures? If not, a friend of mine found vintage Christmas cards at a thrift store and they are SO cute! And they were only 25 cents. I wish I would have thought of that.
hahaha, glad I'm not the only one who does that whole heat thing!!! i did text my hubby to warn him though... :)
and yes amber, i ordered them monday. i just know snail mail takes forever around the holidays! vintage cards from the thrift store is a SUPER cute idea!!
i'm blessed to have a bff who is fabulous photographer so she hooks us up!
yea, we all need to go to bed earlier, don't we?
May I borrow your house rules? The husband and I are BOTH guilty of this... ;) Happy Thursday.
I can totally relate to just about all these items, except your house rules... I might start trying to implement those!
Just found your blog and I'm your newest follower. Also counting down until winter break and then the countdown to spring break begins:) I love your blog!!
