Yesterday after school I had an appointment with my rockin’ esthetician. (For a gal like me with Melasma, acne scarring, and occasional breakouts, she definitely helps me get my skin under control and feel much more confident.) I had a few minutes to kill before the appointment, so I drove around for awhile and enjoyed some of the gorgeous Fall scenery.
{Yes, I am turning into “one of those girls” who takes dorky pics of herself in the car…but only to send to Big Jon. He said I look like a thug with my shades & big diamond earring.}
{See the brown spots I’m sportin’ on my forehead? They’re SO much lighter today!!!}
The marathon left my skin in some pretty yucky condition, so she hooked up up with a Glycolic peel, microdermabrasion, a facial, and eyebrow wax. My skin looks much better and feels AWESOME today!!!
I’m sure when I become a SAHM this is one of the luxuries I’ll have to give up, so I’m enjoying being able to afford it while I can!!
Have you ever had a facial? If not, you HAVE to…they are the BOMB.
Would you rather have a facial, massage, or mani/pedi??
Tough one, huh?

Just found your blog and I love it!!
Facials are ahhhhhmazing. I just hate the part when they blast your face with steam. I felt like I was drowning in steam (you know... because that's possible and all) :)
Have a great weekend!
i've never had a facial! i definitely want to try it some time, i just always go with the massage :)
Ooooooh come on, that's like choosing between pecan or pumpkin pie!! Can't I just have both?! Facials are amazing. I love the sonic facial--makes me look young again muhahahaha! Happy weekend!
Thanks for visiting my blog. My first question is are your teeth real? :D Seriously they are perfect. Well, I love me some facials and massages, I get them once a month. My reasoning is I'm in AZ so my dry skin needs it and I have anxiety so the massages help me get rid of all the stress and knots in my kneck and shoulders. I also rationalize it by saying, I could be on Xanax and or other meds which would cost me a fortune each month, so why not just take the natural approach? :) Hence the running also comes into play. Love pedicures too. I used to have my finger nails done too, but I like to use my hands far too much to keep them too pretty. I love yard work, so having nails just didn't suit me once I got my own home.
I look forward to following your blog. Have a great weekend
