Can you even believe we've already been married for 6 months?? The best 6 months of his life....(my not-so-funny "joke" I keep telling everyone....). Since I am entering my precious, wonderful, coveted SPRING BREAK, the hubs & I went to Atl on Friday night after work. I used Hotwire for the first time, and we ended up at Crowne Plaza Ravinia across from Perimeter Mall. We have actually been there before for a bridal show, so I was pumped to find out this is where we were staying. We checked in around 6:30...
And headed to dinner at one of our faves...
Yum!! So delicious!! (I did almost judo chop the waiter when he knocked my purse into the floor, WITH my camera in it, but I resisted because I didn't want him to spit in our food.) ANYWAY, we decided to hit up Cheesecake Factory for dessert because it was right next door and we had 2 coupons for a free slice of cheesecake. They expired 3/29, but I was *hoping* (expecting) that they'd let us use them anyway. Only 3 days late....(we don't exactly live close to a CF). I threw a mini tantrum when the lady wouldn't agree to use our coupons, so I folded them up, dropped them on the counter, and walked out. Not one of my prouder moments, but seriously, don't mess with me on a Friday night after a long week of teaching middle schoolers (and our jam up career fair, so I was extra exhausted). I just wanted a piece of cheesecake to top off our delicious meal, and I wanted it for free. Is that too much to ask??
After the tantrum (I promise they are a rareity, but they sure ain't pretty!), we headed back to the hotel for a restful night's sleep.... ;)

My stupid internal clock work me up @ 7:30 (a little late for school, but still WAY too early for my first day to sleep in since, like last summer!) and we headed down for a delicious breakfast @ the hotel's restaurant, Bistro 55. After breakfast we showered, got ready for the day, checked out and headed to the mall....
Jon forgot shoes & a tie, and I forgot....panties!! Ha!! We're so awesome. That's what we get for packing last minute. So, we had to pick up the necessities over @ Perimeter. After a few hours of shopping, Big Jon & I headed to his cousin's beautiful wedding. Post to come!

I can honestly say I am happier with Jonathan today than I have ever been. Marriage is truly the gift that keeps on giving....it gets better and better. I am SO SO SO thankful (I know y'all are sick of hearing me say it, but this is my blog & I do what I want!) for my unbelievable husband. He is the greatest man I know, and I have never loved ANYONE more. Happy 6 months, babe!! (Yea, I know you read!) Ready for many, many more!! :)

My husband and I are about to hit 6 months as well. I think it is wonderful. Sounds like you guys had a great time. I'm sure you agree but I feel like month after month it just keeps getting better! Congrats:)

I need your email address...Ryan and I are staring the "Eat-Clean Diet" on Monday. I bought the book and have read through it but wanted to pick your brain, and get your take on some favorite recipes, tips, hints etc. I also have a cute picture that I found of us from the cruise in 2003? I think? The one where we both didn't know we were going on the same cruise but ended up on the same ship? YAAAA! haha I have the picture while going through pics for the wedding.
I cannot picture you doing that at Cheesecake Factory!!! That seriously surprises me! I also can't believe it's already been 6 months - time sure does FLY!!!!!!

emily- i know, i NEVER act/react like that! i was exhausted...and if i was her, i would have just given it to us...at least 1 piece. oh well...we didn't need the extra 1000 calories anyway! ha!! i know, and doesn't it seem like we JUST got married?
